I became interested in genealogy in my teen years after listening to my grandmother’s childhood memories and stories.
Back then, before online research, I spent hours in old county courthouses poring over dusty marriage records and land deeds. Many Saturdays were spent wandering cemeteries or skimming through microfiche film at the library.
Now, with so many records online, I spend most of my time researching from home. This is where I learned to organize my digital files. After losing track of all of my hard work, I knew I needed a better way to locate my documents.
Genealogy keeps me grounded and I enjoy the challenge of finding and analyzing old records.
